Orban: Crises are used as an excuse to seize authority
Budapest, May 31 (Hibya) – Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban continued his criticism of the European Union.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban stated that Brussels has used recent crises as a pretext to take on more authority, leading to a loss of national sovereignty and failed policies.
Orban said, “Brussels has used every crisis – from the financial crisis to the migration wave, from COVID-19 to the energy crisis, and finally the war – as an opportunity to gain more power. The result has been reduced national sovereignty and an increase in failed policies.”
