Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a statement regarding operations carried out by the Israeli Air Force and unmanned aerial vehicles.

Stating that they targeted the Iranian leadership, Netanyahu said: "This morning we neutralized Ali Larijani. Ali Larijani is the leader of the Revolutionary Guards, the gang that effectively runs Iran. Along with him, we also neutralized the Basij commander; these are the aides of gangs that terrorize the people in Tehran and other cities of Iran."

Emphasizing that the aim of the operations is to weaken the regime, Netanyahu said: "We are conducting aerial operations with aircraft and drones. By undermining this regime, we hope to give the Iranian people a chance to overthrow it. If we persist, we will give them the opportunity to take their destiny into their own hands."

Referring to coordination with the United States, Netanyahu said: "We are also helping our American friends in the Gulf. Yesterday I spoke at length with President Trump about this. There is cooperation between our air forces and navies, and between me and President Trump and his team. We will assist through both direct actions and indirect attacks that place tremendous pressure on the Iranian regime. There are many more surprises ahead."

Stressing that the war will be won with determination, Netanyahu concluded: "The most important condition for winning a war is determination—the determination of leaders, commanders, and the people. We are determined to win, and we will achieve it."
