Netanyahu visits IDF 36th Division
Jerusalem, May 29 (Hibya) - The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office announced that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the IDF 36th Division on the northern border.
According to a statement from the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the IDF 36th Division on the northern border together with Defense Minister Israel Katz and IDF Deputy Chief of Staff Major General Tamir Yadai.
The Prime Minister and the Defense Minister were briefed on operations in Lebanon by Northern Command Commander Major General Rafi Milo and IDF 36th Division Commander Brigadier General Yiftach Norkin, and held a meeting with brigade commanders operating in the field.
During the visit, Prime Minister Netanyahu stated that he met with the Defense Minister, the Deputy Chief of Staff, the Northern Command Commander, the Division Commander, commanders, and soldiers on the ground.
Netanyahu said he also spoke with brigade commanders and soldiers in the field, noting that there was tremendous fighting spirit and that the campaign against Hezbollah in the north was being directed from there.
