Istanbul, April 10 (Hibya) - Asian markets generally showed an upward trend in the first half of the day, while the Australian stock market diverged negatively.

In Australia, the ASX 200 index fell by 0.30% to 8,946.50 points, showing a downward outlook. In contrast, Japan’s Nikkei index rose by 1.90% to 56,955.80 points.
In India, the Nifty 50 index continued its positive trend, increasing by 0.88% to 23,985.35 points. In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng index rose by 0.60% to 25,907.96 points.
In China, the Shanghai Composite Index also recorded a limited increase, reaching 3,991.136 points, with a gain of 0.16%.
Thus, across the region, investors’ risk appetite remained largely positive, although divergences among markets persisted.
