Milatovic meets with Kazakhstan Prime Minister Bektenov
Astana, June 20 (Hibya) - Montenegrin President Jakov Milatovic met with Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov.
Continuing his bilateral contacts as part of his official visit to Kazakhstan, Montenegrin President Jakov Milatovic discussed opportunities for economic and sectoral cooperation during a high-level meeting with Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov.
Sharing the main focus areas and expected outcomes of the meeting, Milatovic said, “We are transforming the friendly relations between Montenegro and Kazakhstan into concrete cooperation, new investments, and stronger connections between our citizens and economies.”
Emphasizing partnership, Milatovic stated, “The meeting with Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov confirms that there is strong potential for partnership in the fields of economy, tourism, transport, energy, agriculture, digital technologies, and public administration.”
Highlighting that this visit marks a historic turning point in relations between the two countries, Milatovic concluded:
“The first official visit of a President of Montenegro to Kazakhstan opens a new chapter in relations between our countries: from traditional friendship to a long-term and meaningful partnership.”
