German Chancellor Friedrich Merz made assessments regarding the current state and future of the healthcare system.
Referring to the financial structure of the system, Merz said: “Our healthcare system must be affordable and reliable. Without this historic reform, premiums will continue to rise.”
Emphasizing that the current trend will be addressed, Merz added: “We will stop this trend. Revenues and expenditures must be rebalanced.”
