Merz: Jewish life is a part of us
Berlin, July 19 (Hibya) – German Chancellor Friedrich Merz stated that Germany must be a safe haven for Jews.
Chancellor Merz emphasized that Jewish life is an integral part of their identity.
He noted that since 1950, they owe their diversity, trust, and voice to the Central Council of Jews, and added: “This reminds us of an obvious truth: Germany must be a safe haven for Jews. Let’s ensure that.”
