Lula: Fulfilling one's civic duty has no expiration date

Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva said in a statement that casting a ballot serves as automatic proof of life for retirees covered by the National Social Security Institute (INSS).
Lula said the Brazilian government had reinstated its policy of real minimum wage increases above inflation for workers and retirees and was committed to maintaining this policy. Lula added that fulfilling one's civic duty has no expiration date.
