UK Foreign Secretary Lammy expressed that the suffering of civilians in Gaza has reached an unbearable level.

Emphasizing the need for an immediate ceasefire, Lammy said, "An urgent ceasefire is needed, all hostages must be released, and humanitarian aid must be fully resumed."

In a joint statement by the foreign ministers of Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, it was stated:

"We call on the parties and the international community to unite in a joint effort to immediately, unconditionally, and permanently end this horrific conflict. There is no benefit to more bloodshed. We reaffirm our full support for the efforts of the US, Qatar, and Egypt to achieve this goal."

The statement also said: "We are ready to take further steps to ensure an immediate ceasefire for Israelis, Palestinians, and the entire region, as well as to support a political path toward security and peace."
