Lahbib: Every journey begins with the first step toward building a Union of Equality
Brussels, June 26 (Hibya) – European Commissioner for Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib met with the chairs of parliamentary committees.
European Commissioner for Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib said that she met with the chairs of parliamentary committees to focus on equality reforms and the implementation of EU equality legislation.
Referring to the meeting, Lahbib said: "Together with Ildiko Sopov, Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on EU Affairs, and Dora Szücs, Chair of the Education Committee, we focused on equality reforms and the implementation of EU equality legislation."
Emphasizing their shared vision, Lahbib stated: "Every journey begins with the first step toward building a Union of Equality."
