Katz: Israel's policy in Gaza is clear and straightforward
Jerusalem, April 16 (Hibya) - Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said that Israel’s policy in Gaza, supported by the Israel Defense Forces command and the political leadership, is clear and straightforward.
Defense Minister Katz stated that Israel’s policy in Gaza, with the support of the Israel Defense Forces command and the political leadership, is clear and straightforward, adding: "Firstly, all efforts must be made to release all hostages under the framework of the Vitkov draft and then build a bridge to defeat the Palestinian Islamic Movement."
Katz also mentioned that attacks on the Palestinian Islamic Movement are ongoing, stating: "In our view, the safety of our soldiers is our top priority. So far, hundreds of thousands of people have been evacuated and 10% of the area has been added to the security zone. Additionally, a plan for the voluntary relocation of Gaza’s population is also being supported."
Katz said: "If the Palestinian Islamic Movement insists on its denial, its actions will expand and we will move to the next phase. The IDF is strong and determined. Israel has someone its citizens can rely on."
