In his statement, Jetten noted that Dutch soldiers marched alongside French troops in this year's parade, describing it as a strong symbol of the historic friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Jetten said: "It is a wonderful symbol of the historic friendship and cooperation between France and the Netherlands. Together, we continue working for a free and secure Europe."
Jetten also congratulated the French people on their National Day, saying: "I wish all our French friends a wonderful and happy National Day."
