Dutch Deputy Prime Minister Rob Jetten attended the military parade held in Paris at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron.

In his statement, Jetten noted that Dutch soldiers marched alongside French troops in this year's parade, describing it as a strong symbol of the historic friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

Jetten said: "It is a wonderful symbol of the historic friendship and cooperation between France and the Netherlands. Together, we continue working for a free and secure Europe."

Jetten also congratulated the French people on their National Day, saying: "I wish all our French friends a wonderful and happy National Day."
