Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar announced that he held a meeting with European Union (EU) Commissioner for the Mediterranean Dubravka Suica.

Sa'ar said the meeting addressed developments in Israel-Morocco relations and the results of the trilateral meeting held in New York last Wednesday.

Sa'ar also said he presented Suica with his proposal to advance joint projects involving Israel, Morocco and the European Union, adding that developments in two EU-led humanitarian aid projects in Gaza were also discussed.

Sa'ar said the projects focus on wastewater treatment and waste disposal, and thanked Suica for the cooperation.

Sa'ar added that he looks forward to continuing cooperation with Suica in the framework of her role as Commissioner for the Mediterranean.
