Alireza Hashemi Raja, Director General of Affairs for Iranians Abroad at the Iranian Foreign Ministry, strongly condemned the US government’s decision to ban entry for citizens of Iran and several other predominantly Muslim countries.

Raja described this step as clear evidence of a supremacist and racist mindset prevailing among American policymakers.

The Iranian official emphasized that the US government's decision to ban Iranian citizens solely based on their religion and nationality reflects deep hostility toward the Iranian people and Muslims, and constitutes a violation of fundamental principles of international law, including the prohibition of discrimination and fundamental human rights.
