In its statement, the IDF said the test would be carried out as part of the Home Front Command (Pikud HaOref) system and should not be confused with a real attack warning.
According to the statement, in the event of an actual emergency, alerts will be issued through the Home Front Command (Pikud HaOref) application and other supplementary warning systems.
Officials said citizens can obtain the latest information through Home Front Command channels.
