IDF: Givati Brigade destroyed Hezbollah weapons depots in southern Lebanon
Tel Aviv, April 4 (Hibya) - The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that numerous Hezbollah weapons depots were seized as part of ground operations carried out by the Givati Brigade under the command of the 91st Division in southern Lebanon.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released an updated statement regarding expanded ground operations in southern Lebanon aimed at ensuring the security of settlements along the northern border.
Details were shared about raids conducted by Givati Brigade units on strategic points during the operations.
Regarding field operations and seized ammunition, the ministry stated:
"Givati Brigade fighters under the command of the 91st Division have been operating in the southern Lebanon region in recent weeks and continue to expand ground activities. In various targeted raids on military buildings used by the organization, numerous weapons depots were found, including anti-tank missiles, RPG rockets, rockets, Kalashnikov rifles, and ammunition."
On the results of operations carried out in coordination with the Air Force, it was stated: "In the past 24 hours, forces identified a terrorist cell belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization. The Air Force quickly encircled the target and, under the direction of the forces, neutralized the terrorists. Additionally, 91st Division forces attacked terrorist headquarters and anti-tank missile launch positions overnight."
