Herzog said on his social media account, “Twenty-five years ago, on September 11, terror struck at the heart of America. We remember all those who were murdered on that horrific day.”
Describing the United States as Israel’s “great friend and ally,” Herzog said they would continue to stand with the United States in the fight against global terrorism.
Herzog expressed his wish that the memory of those who lost their lives in the September 11 attacks live on forever.
