Guterres: I am carrying out my Ramadan solidarity visit in Türkiye this year
Ankara, March 12 (Hibya) – United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres stated that he is in Türkiye as part of his Ramadan solidarity visit and expressed appreciation for the generosity shown by the Turkish people to refugees.
UN Secretary-General Guterres announced that this year he is in Türkiye as part of the Ramadan solidarity visit he carries out every year.
Guterres stated that Türkiye has hosted the largest number of refugees in the world during his tenure and said that he came to Türkiye to express his appreciation for the generosity and solidarity shown by the Turkish people towards refugees.
