EU Council President Costa calls on Syrian authorities
Brussels, July 17 (Hibya) - European Union (EU) Council President Antonio Costa has called on Syrian authorities to protect all members of religious and ethnic minorities without discrimination.
Costa stated that the EU is closely following the latest developments in Syria.
Calling on Syrian authorities to protect all religious and ethnic minority members without discrimination, Costa said, “We welcome the current ceasefire brokered by the US and regional partners and urge all parties to fulfill their commitments.”
