Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys reported that two serious security incidents had occurred in the country within hours of each other. Budrys said an attempted act of sabotage targeting Starlink infrastructure near Vilnius had been thwarted overnight, while an unidentified unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) had violated Lithuanian airspace in the morning.

In a statement posted on social media, Budrys claimed that the attempted sabotage of Starlink infrastructure was intended to disrupt a capability critical to Ukraine's defense and civilian communications. He added that the UAV's airspace violation also posed a risk to Lithuanian citizens and their property.

Budrys argued that both incidents were direct consequences of Russia's attacks on Ukraine and their implications for European security. He claimed that hybrid attacks, sabotage attempts and airspace violations threatened critical infrastructure and were intended to instill fear in society and weaken Europe's support for Ukraine.

Stating that Lithuania would continue to support Ukraine's right to self-defense under Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, Budrys called on Russia to immediately end its attacks on Ukraine.

Budrys stated that attacks on Lithuania's critical infrastructure would be investigated, exposed and met with a firm response, emphasizing his country's solidarity with its allies and Ukraine.
