Bermudez: Fidel’s legacy shows that a better world is possible
Havana, August 13 (Hibya) - Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez said in a message on Fidel Castro’s legacy that the issues he raised years ago are still awaiting solutions today.
Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez commented on the legacy of Fidel Castro.
Díaz-Canel said the issues Fidel Castro raised at the United Nations in 1960 and 1979, highlighted in Rio in 1992, and addressed in around 500 “Reflections” writings are still awaiting solutions.
Díaz-Canel said Fidel Castro’s work based on international solidarity and internationalism is proof that a better world is possible through will and cooperation, and called for this goal to be put into practice.
