Berendsen: Our ties with Germany are of great importance
Berlin, March 6 (Hibya) - Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen met with German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul and Germany’s State Secretary for European Affairs Gunther Krichbaum.

During the meeting, regional developments—particularly the crisis involving Iran—and the security challenges facing Europe were discussed.
Drawing attention to the importance of relations between the Netherlands and Germany, Berendsen said: “Our ties with Germany are of great importance. We are neighbors, friends, and also partners within the European Union and NATO.”
Berendsen stated that they also discussed European security and support for Ukraine, saying: “Like Germany, we are also taking responsibility.”
Berendsen also met in Berlin with Germany’s Minister of State for Europe Gunther Krichbaum, emphasizing the joint efforts of the Netherlands and Germany for a secure, future-oriented Europe based on the rule of law.
