Barrack: U.S.-UAE cooperation is critical for the region
Ankara, April 5 (Hibya) – U.S. Ambassador to Türkiye and Special Envoy for Syria Tom Barrack emphasized the importance of U.S.-UAE partnership for the Middle East, calling for the protection of diplomatic missions in Damascus and the continuation of reconciliation efforts.
U.S. Ambassador to Türkiye and Special Envoy for Syria Tom Barrack stated that cooperation between the United States and the United Arab Emirates is of critical importance for the Middle East.
Barrack said: “The U.S.-UAE partnership continues to be critically important across all areas for the Middle East. Syria’s courageous re-engagement with the region has become a defining turning point worth preserving.”
Addressing the authorities in Damascus, Barrack said: “We call on Damascus to protect its diplomatic missions and to continue its courageous reconciliation efforts.”
