Araghchi: Israel targeted UNESCO heritage historical monuments in Iran
Tehran, March 12 (Hibya) - Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi criticized UNESCO’s silence after Israel bombed historical monuments in Iran dating back to the 14th century.
Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi stated that Israel bombed Iranian historical monuments dating back to the 14th century.
Araghchi said that several UNESCO World Heritage sites were hit and added, "It is natural for a regime that will not survive even a century to hate nations with an ancient past."
Calling on UNESCO, Araghchi emphasized, "But where is UNESCO? Its silence is unacceptable."
