Albusaidi meets with Egyptian counterpart Abdel-Aty in Muscat
Muscat, March 16 (Hibya) - Oman’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Albusaidi met with Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty and called for the immediate cessation of military operations in the region and the restoration of diplomatic channels.
Oman’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Albusaidi held a meeting in Muscat with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty.
Albusaidi stated that the main agenda of the meeting was the search for regional security and stability, saying, “We discussed the critical developments in the region and emphasized the urgent need for wisdom and diplomacy.”
Albusaidi said, “We emphasized the necessity of ending the war and all military operations carried out against countries in the region in order to prevent further escalation and chaos.”
Highlighting the importance of international cooperation to end the conflicts, Minister Albusaidi said, “We called on peace-loving countries to work together to reestablish the political and diplomatic path for resolving the conflict and all related issues.”
